OK, so I'm new to this Facebook thing...
Some of you who know me from the band PineWood Box have already signed on as a 'Fan' of PWB, and I appreciate that.

 I really wanted to be able to let those fans know what is going on lately with that music, the videos, etc., but I'm discovering that just because people opt in as a 'Fan' doesn't mean I can contact them with updates. It seems I can get sent relentless 'chocolate easter bunnies' (I started Facebook in April) or get 'served drinks' by everybody I am friends with, but when I 'Fan' a page, the Page can't send me directly info on what they're up to. When they post to their Page, it shows up neatly hidden under my 'Updates' tab.

 Does anybody know where that's at? You should check yours out. You'll see all the updates to the Pages you've 'Fanned' and have been wondering about ever since. You need to go way up and click on your 'Inbox' and ta-da, there's your mysterious 'Updates' tab!

 It just seems incredible that I can't simply send out a notice to PWB Fans that'll end up on their wall or email, so I'm urging everyone who is a Fan, or potential Fan, of PWB to click on my Posterous (blog) tab on my profile and subscribe! (Hmm... why not a separate Posterous to the PineWood Box Page? Because Facebook doesn't allow blogging to Pages! Aauugghh!!! But that's another rant altogether...)

 I promise you'll get up to the minute updates on PineWood Box uploads and downloads (Hint: A CD is Coming!) plus, all the "Cute Kitten" videos you can possibly stand.

 Please tell everyone, and thanks for listening.
